Toshumba, Roberta C. Wright

July 3, 1957 - August 16, 2021

Mrs. Roberta Wright Toshumba passed away Monday morning, August 16, 2021. Mrs. Toshumba was a retired military veteran, who served 30 years in the Army National Guard as a chief warrant officer four. She is survived by her father, Robert A. Wright and Nancy Stewart, younger brother Timothy Wright and sister Felicia Wright, and eight children, Tanya Stalling, Kwame Thomas, Kenya Huger, Keith Thomas, Chaz and Sherrie Johnson, Kai Stacks and Nijah Toshumba, and her nine grandchildren. A service honoring her life will be held at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 408 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Greensboro, North Carolina 27406, on August 28, 2021: visitation begins at 11 a.m., service begins at 11:30 a.m.

Cards and flowers are being accepted at Brown's Funeral Home.

Kai and Nijah: I am deeply sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. You are both in my thoughts and prayers. Your parents were both extremely supportive and cooperative parents to work with when you were fifth graders in my class. I have many fond memories of both of you precious young ladies .
