RONNIE VINEYARD Obituary

RONNIE HARRELL VINEYARD KERNERSVILLE Ronnie Harrell Vineyard, 66, went to his heavenly home on Sunday, October 6, 2013 with his loving family by his side. Ronnie was born May 2, 1947 in Ashe Co. to Ola Blevins Vineyard of Winston Salem and the late Harrell Vineyard. Ron graduated from Forsyth Technical Community College and attended A&T University. He retired from Guilford Technical Community College in 2010 with 25 years of service. Ron was an avid hunter and fisherman. He and Sharon spent many hours' bass fishing together; and he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Ron was a member of Missions Baptist Church where he was involved in many activities in the church. In addition to his mother, surviving are his loving wife, Sharon Vineyard of the home; two children, Mark Vineyard and wife, Heather of Trinity, Christy Vineyard of Winston Salem; three grandchildren, Zachary Vineyard of the home, Bailee and Dalton Vineyard of Trinity; two brothers, Richard Vineyard and wife, Janet of Mooresville, Johnnie Vineyard and wife, Bobbie of Winston Salem; and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Missions Baptist Church with Pastor David Keaton and Dr. Bobby Roberson officiating. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Missions Baptist Church, 407 Walkertown-Guthrie Road, Winston Salem, NC 27101. Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the Vineyard family. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com
