Mrs. Ruby N. Davis, age 85, of Greensboro, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro. She was born in Robeson County on September 14, 1935, the daughter of the late Murdoch and Annie Tyler Lamb.
Ruby was married to Theodore (Ted) B. Davis, who precedes her in death.
She is survived by her three sons, Wendell Jay Davis and wife, Natalie, of Las Vegas, NV, Kevin M. Davis and wife, Tammy of Browns Summit, Thomas B. Davis and wife, Valerie of Greensboro; three sisters, Vivian Greenwood of Charlotte, Edna Benton of Lumberton and Dorothy Simmons of High Point; three grandchildren, Hope Feely, Trisha Davis, Dina Linthicum and four great-grandchildren, Zaeden and Liam Feely, Skylie and Ezra Linthicum.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday February 1, 2021 at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 West Gate City Blvd. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 1 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Guilford Memorial Park.
