Sylvia Ann DeHart Wilson, 87, passed away on Thursday, September 1 at her residence in Eden, NC.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 7 at 11 a.m. in the North Spray Christian Church with Entombment to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. A visitation will be held Tuesday, September 6 at Fair Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m.
Sylvia was born August 6, 1935 in Henry Co. She retired from Lorillard Tobacco Co. in 1991. Sylvia was a member of North Spray Christian Church and loved singing in the choir. She also loved making wreaths for the church and doing any kind of work when the church needed her help. Sylvia enjoyed her beach house and especially when the family was there with her. She loved to travel and dance.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Debra Moore, Michelle Walker (Jerry), Elizabeth (Beth) Lewis (Len); son, Thomas Wilson, Jr (Leigh Ann); nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren with two on the way; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Cuesell Wilson; mother, Dorothy DeHart Pilcher, and stepfather Santford A. Pilcher; son-in-law, Bob Moore.
Donations may be given to the North Spray Christian Church, 521 Washburn Ave., Eden, NC 27288.
