Wilbur Clifton Bosher, Jr.

June 21, 1939 - September 12, 2024

Wilbur Clifton Bosher, Jr., 85, of Greensboro, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024. Wilbur was born June 21, 1939 and was the son of the late Wilbur Clifton Bosher Sr. & Mary Crosley Bosher. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Donald Bosher and Jerry Bosher; and his sister, Mary Ann Bosher Nelson Murray. Wilbur is survived by his son, Monroe Bosher; and grandson, Montgomery Bosher. Wilbur is also survived by his two nephews, Kenneth James "Jimmy" Nelson of Greensboro, NC and Clifton Layne Nelson of Meggett, SC; and a niece, Erin Lynn Nelson of Greensboro, NC.

Wilbur served honorably in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany for 2 years. After Wilbur returned from the Army, he worked for Cone Mills for 15 years and then Koury Hotel in Greensboro for 20 years until he retired.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, September 20, 2024 at Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home, 515 N Elm Street, Greensboro, NC. The family will receive friends following the service.
