William Todd Durham, age 59, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 6, 2023, after a brief illness, at Wesley Long Hospital. Todd was born on June 14, 1964. Todd was preceded in death by his father Charles Durham. He is survived by his loving wife Beth, son Todd Durham, daughter Ashlee Willard (Logan), granddaughter Magnolia Willard, mother Barbara Dark, sister Sherry Andrews (Max), and five nephews.

Todd was a lifelong resident of Greensboro, NC. After high school, Todd became partners with his father in their 2-truck operation, growing it into currently multiple companies with more than 200 trucks. He met his loving wife Beth in 1991 and married her the next year, spending the last 31 years together. Todd and Beth were true partners in life, both work and pleasure, and loved the adventures they had together.

His two children had joined him in his business. For many years, Todd always spoke with such pride on the accomplishments of both LT and Ashlee. Everyone knew his love for them as his greatest achievements were expressed in his words and on his face. He was especially excited to welcome his first grandchild Magnolia Grace Willard this past August.

Todd was an avid fisherman and deer hunter. His passion was being somewhere on the water when he had time away from running his business in the summer, and alone in his tree stand in the fall or winter. From his over 40 years in the trucking industry, Todd formed many lifelong friendships that went beyond the boundaries of work. His knowledge of trucking and the dairy industry, willingness to always help others, and rarely say no in time of need will be missed. Todd was a privately giving man, most people not knowing the extent of his charity. He was not one to brag or even let it be known but had helped many in times of need without a second thought or want of something in return. His love of the Pittsburg Steelers let him experience joy on fall Sundays in hosting game day events for many friends and family.

A visitation for Todd will be held Tuesday, October 10, 2023, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home, 515 N Elm St, Greensboro, North Carolina 27401. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at 12 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home. With graveside service to follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.
