Ansel Mckinney Obituary
Simpsonville
Ansel E. McKinney, 95, widower of Louise Shelton McKinney, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, June 30, 2016.
Mr. McKinney was born May 18, 1921 in Simpsonville to the late Perry Lee and Sally Garrett McKinney. He was a member of Simpsonville First Baptist Church and Woodmen of the World and was a self-employed small engine repairman. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps and was a WWII veteran.
Surviving, are a son, Ed McKinney (Martha); two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by two brothers and a sister.
Funeral Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Simpsonville First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial, with Military Honors will follow at Grandview Memorial Cemetery in Travelers Rest.

I loved seeing Mr. McKinney on Sunday mornings at Church. He would greet you with a sweet loving smile that would warm your heart. He will be missed but never forgotten.
