I will always remember Barry as the always considerate, never brash, project manager who helped me implement my first design change at Catawba Nuclear Station. He will be missed.

Kimberly and family, I wish to extend my condolences to all of you during this time of great sorrow. I received word about Barry from our Catawba team mates. It was my great pleasure to have worked with Barry first in Design Engineering/Electrical Division at Duke Power and then again, when he returned to Catawba Nuclear Station as a contractor in the Engineering Division. Barry and I often talked of our families and past memories at Duke while taking breaks at the picnic tables outside the Mod Engineering Building, before I retired from Duke. Barry's wonderful personality and smile will be greatly missed at Duke but you can be sure that our Heavenly Father has already put his electrical engineering talents to work to light the way home for all those he knew and loved. We'll all have a wonderful homecoming one day. I pray that God and his son Jesus Christ will continue to hold you and all the family in their comforting hands until you meet again.
