Bobbie Campbell Obituary

Bobbie Campbell, loving mother and grandmother, passed away Sunday, Dec. 19, 2004, with her family at her side.

Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Van Gresham and Lizzie Mae Greene Bowers.

Mrs. Campbell was a 1955 graduate of Parker High School, and was employed with The Coffee Pot Restaurant for 20 years. She later worked for Plott Manufacturing, and Expressions Florist until her retirement. She was a former Precinct Manager for the Greenville County Election Commission, and was a "grandmom" for the Furman Cheerleaders.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Debi and Billy Bush of Greenville; a sister, Pat McClain of Piedmont; a brother, Bill Bowers of Woodruff; two grandchildren, Staci Bryant of Greenville, and Derek Bush of Duke University; many loving nieces and nephews; and a grandpuppy, Piper.

Funeral services will be today, Dec. 22, 2004, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
