Bobby Eugene O'Bryant, Sr., age 80, passed away on January 23, 2015, at the Hospice House of Laurens County. Bobby was born in Laurens County on November 17, 1934, and was the son of the late William Jep and Sara Leona Wheeler O'Bryant.

Bobby is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, Jacqueline Alexander O'Bryant (Jackie) of the home; a son, Bobby Eugene O'Bryant, Jr. (Robbie); a daughter-in-law, Robin; and the joy of his life, his grandsons, Logan and Zachary. Surviving also is a sister, Ruby O'Bryant Neal, of Waterloo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Bobby was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters.

Before his retirement, Bobby was a general manager Wometco Food Services, covering plants in Greenwood, Ware Shoals, and Clinton. After his retirement from Wometco, Bobby and his son, Robbie, formed Carolina Food Services, which they operated for several years.

Bobby coached Little League for many years and enjoyed keeping up with his former players. A Mason and Shriner, Bobby was a member of First United Methodist Church, where his funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2015, conducted by Rev. Alice MacKeil.

The family will be receiving friends at First United Methodist Church, beginning at 2:00 pm, prior to the service at 3:00 pm. Burial will follow in Westview Memorial Park.
