Greenville
Charles Wesley Granger, 91, of Greenville, widower of Frankie Huff Granger, died Friday, July 29, 2016.
Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late William Pinkney and Eupha Meadows Granger.
Charles served in the United States Army during WWII and worked at Greenville Technical College. He was a member of Berea First Baptist Church.
He is survived by a son, C. Franklin Granger (Teresa Hunt); two grandsons, Benjamin Ryan and Adam Thomas Granger; and a brother, Harold Martin Granger.
In addition to his loving wife of 64 years, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Pinkney Granger, Jr.
The visitation will be held Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. in the Welcome Center at Berea First Baptist Church, with the funeral service following at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Frank and family-I am so sorry for your loss of your dad-Charlie--I worked with Charlie for many years @ Tech-with Special Schools-He was one of the very few "Salt of the Earth" people I have ever known- I'm sorry for responding so late-I just found out as I was going him--A wonderful man-whom I will never forget.
