Simpsonville
Christopher Anthony Bridges, 51, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 20, 2013.
Mr. Bridges was born March 13, 1962 in Greenville to Clifford Alvin Bridges and Carolyn Josephine Davis Bridges. He worked for Premiere Transport and was a member of Simpsonville Church of God. He enjoyed golfing and NASCAR. Chris was an avid outdoorsmen who loved hunting and fishing, and was a member of the Bass Masters Club. He enjoyed riding motorcycles.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a daughter, Brittany Bridges; and a brother, Craig Bridges and wife Robin.
Funeral services will be 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Simpsonville Church of God, officiated by Rev. Delton Hand. Burial will be Thursday at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
Memorials may be made to Simpsonville Church of God, 130 Stokes Road, Simpsonville, SC 29681.
The family is at the home of Cliff and Carolyn Bridges, 1028 Cooper Bridge Road in Fountain Inn.

Clifford, Carolyn, Brittany, Craig & Family,
You guys have been on my heart since Saturday night. I have been praying and will continue to pray for all of you. I only saw Chris about once a year, usually on Thanksgiving, but every time I was around him he made me feel as if we hung out every day. I will always remember his upbeat attitude and his smile. While there will be a void for the rest of our lives on earth, Chris is still 100% a part of our eternity. I know you all know that. May God give you peace in knowing that one day, we will see Chris again, and when we do, we will be in the presence of our Lord!
