Claude Beck Obituary
A native of Pickens County, he was a son of the late Joseph Samuel and Ella Floree Duncan Beck, a member of Pelham Church of God of Prophecy, and a retired employee with Cunningham Waters Construction Co. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Louise Vaughn Beck of the home; four sons, James Virgil Beck of the home, Dennis Beck of Arley, Ala., Glenn Beck of Greer, and Jeff Beck of Taylors; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Beck Waldrop.
Funeral services will be held 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Wood Mortuary conducted by the Rev. John Brown and the Rev. Adam Howard. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. today at the mortuary.
