Doris Saylors Leach

Windsor, CA

Doris Saylors Leach, 85, wife of Edward Everett Leach, passed away on Friday, January 4, 2013, at home in Windsor, California.

Born in Greenville, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Alean Barnett Saylors and William Edgar Saylors and was a member of First Congregational UCC in Santa Rosa, California. She was a 1945 graduate of Greenville High School.

Surviving are daughters: Jo (Dick) Allen of Greenville, SC, Jean (John) Firth of Copperas Cove, TX, and Judy (Mark) Adams of Santa Rosa, CA; five grandchildren: Edward Firth (Summer) of Sacramento, CA, Andy (Angela) Allen of Greenville, SC, Michael Firth of Killeen, TX, Lesley Adams, of Chico, CA and Christopher Adams of Santa Rosa, CA; and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by three brothers: Charles, Eddie and Mendel Saylors; and granddaughter-in-law, Amy Firth.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on January 26, 2013 at First Congregational UCC Church with a luncheon to follow in the fellowship hall.

Private inurnment will follow at the Santa Rosa Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made to one's favorite charity.
