Evelyn Hyatt Obituary
Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Henry Lee Harris and Ethel Poole Harris.
Mrs. Hyatt was a retired seamstress and a former employee of Stone Manufacturing.
She was a member of Calvary First Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Diane Thomas (Victor) and Donniette Hughes (Rudy); step-children, Marty Hyatt (Nina), Janet Dill (Chuck), Fred Hyatt, Jr. (Pam), and Darlene Powers (Mark); ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, with one on the way; and two sisters, Lynn Harris, and Peggy Camp (Bill).
Evelyn was predeceased by her first husband, Donnie Bridges.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 14, 2010 in the chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest.
Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:30 - 2:45 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Calvary First Baptist Church Food Pantry, 11 Tampa Street, Greenville, SC 29609.

The family will be at the home of Marty and Nina Hyatt, 8 Galaxy Drive, Greenville, SC.

Doniette, Diane and Family. I am so sorry to hear of Evelyn's passing. She was great person. It was always a pleasure to be in her presence and enjoy the laughter and fun loving person she was.
