Imogene F. Jordan

Greenville

Imogene F. Jordan, 78, of Greenville, wife of Roy Jordan, Jr., died Thursday, May 7, 2015.

Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Ben and Ida Sloan Fowler.

Imogene was a member of Freedom Baptist Church where she was a prayer warrior, devout Christian, and loved listening to gospel music.

Surviving, in addition to her loving husband of 61 years, are five children, Sharon Hayden (David), Michael Jordan (Lyn), Debra Honeycutt, Rebecca Johnson (Walter), and Mitchell Jordan (Kim); eleven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one sister, Lena Grant; and one brother, Ben Fowler, Jr.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

The visitation will be held Tuesday, May 12, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest, with the funeral service following at 1:30 p.m. in the Northwest chapel. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Freedom Baptist Church, 1907 W. Parker Road, Greenville, SC 29617.
