James Moreland Obituary
Easley, SC
James Michael Moreland, 43, of 310 McBee Avenue, passed away Friday, June 5, 2015.
Born in Tallahassee, FL, he is the son of Michael Moreland of Easley and the late Suzanne Davis Moreland.
James Michael was employed with CVS in Anderson.
Surviving are his Dad of Easley; a daughter, Samantha Moreland; grandmother, Lulu Phillips Moreland; and three aunts, Betty Gilmer, Jackie Lynn Davis and Marilyn Leisure (Larry).
In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Davis and J.D. Moreland.
A memorial service will be held at later date.

I worked with James at cvs. A lot of times we bumped heads but at the end of the day all was forgotten. He is dearly missed

Michael was such a special person. I remember sitting behind him in 8th grade Earth Science class. One day, I wrote squiggles on his gray t-shirt. I think I filled up half his t-shirt with little ink squiggles. It was all in fun. I saw him about a year ago at CVS in Easley. It was really nice to chat with him and reminisce about our middle and high school days. Rest in peace, my friend.

I am so sorry for the loss of James!! I am a CVS shopper in Anderson, SC and I absolutely thought the world of him! He was always so helpful, genuine, and just a good man! You could tell his character by his demeanor! When I did not see him in a while I asked where he was and then just a few minutes ago I was in CVS and asked how he was and I was told he had passed away. I began crying in the store because he was just so kind and customer friendly, and that is unfortunately a rare find today! I will miss him sorely; I have been praying for him ever since I knew he was on leave from the CVS. May God bless each of you, his family, and give you strength and peace in the coming days, weeks, months, and years! Heaven got an angel in my opinion and I am just grateful I got the opportunity to know him even if it was just a short time!

Samantha.... I only knew your daddy from the time I had you in K4 @ ECS...but when I would run into him at CVS he ALWAYS took time to brag on you and how proud he was of you. He loved you soooo much and being absent from you here on Earth will not change that. May Gods love and peace wrap you up and comfort you during this time and until you meet again. My beloved nephew will be missed by all. Wonderful man ! He was such a blessing to me. So glad he was in my life. Fond memories . I know my sister (his mom) was waiting on him with open arms. Love you so much Michael and we will see each other one day.
