James Wiley Traynham

Greenville

James Wiley Traynham, 49, of Greenville died Friday, June 12, 2015.

Born in Greenville, SC, he was the son of Ruth Smith Traynham and the late Wilcy Traynham, Sr.

Mr. Traynham was employed with Power Source, a member of Reedy River Baptist Church and enjoyed playing golf.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his companion, Shirley Edwards; four sisters, Cindy Eldridge, Betsy Poston, Joyce Taylor and Amy Laws; two brothers, Wilcy Traynham, Jr, and Mark Traynham; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a niece, Hannah Taylor.

The visitation will be Wednesday, June 17 at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest from 11:00-1:15 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 1:30 p.m.

Burial will be in the Reedy River Baptist Church Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Greenville County Humane Society, 305 Airport Road, Greenville, SC 29607 or Reedy River Baptist Church, 871 US 25 North, Greenville, SC 29617.
