Jason Whitfield Obituary

Jason Miles Whitfield, 26, of 202 Crestview Court, passed away Sunday, Feb. 6, 2005.

Born in Anderson County, he was the son of David and Susan McCall Whitfield, and was a member of Utica Baptist Church.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his fiancee, Jennifer Kumbera of Kissimmee, Fla.; a sister, Debra Hart and husband, Keith, and their daughter, Maggie, of Seneca; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ervie Whitfield of Seneca, and Mr. and Mrs. Bob McCall of Seneca. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Berline McCall.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11, 2005, at Seneca Mortuary Chapel, with Dr. Rudy Gray and Rev. Fred Stone officiating. Burial will follow at Oconee Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, prior to the service, at the mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to Utica Baptist Church Building Fund, 4056 Wells Highway, Seneca, SC 29678.

The family is at the residence.

Seneca Mortuary is assisting the family of Mr. Whitfield.
