Jerry Porter Obituary
Mauldin
Jerry Pressley Porter, 69, of Mauldin, SC, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014.
Born in Wilmington, NC on January 10, 1945, he was a son of the late William James Porter and Velma Pressley Porter. He was blessed with five children, Sarah P. Clayton, Katherine P. Reece, Elizabeth P. Merrill, Jerry P. Porter, Jr. and Ashley P. Robinson. He is also survived by two siblings, James W. Porter and Carol P. Worrell, 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and a host of great friends.
A private memorial will be held by the family. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association at lung.org or by mail 44-A Markfield Dr., Charleston, SC 29407.

Jerry will be greatly missed. He taught me a lot, I never tired of talking to Jerry. I will always remember his resturant and the good times we had in the 1990's in a rapidly changing Greenville, that Jerry helped to shape and mold. He was a real Gentleman. Blessings to those of the Family and his wide circle of friends.
