Joe Bland Obituary
He was born in Pineville, South Carolina a son of the late David Bland and Lucille Gadson Bland. He was a retired truck driver for Associated Grocery in Miami, Florida and the Jostens Co., in Laurens and a member of Evening Light Church of God and the State Brotherhood of the Church of God Presbytery.
He was preceded in death by three wives, Louise Baldwin Bland, Katie Annette Beasley Bland, Geneva Fulton Bland; one brother William Bland, two sisters, Margerine Bland Brown and Florence Bland Mulligan. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
He leaves two stepsons, Sidney (Jackie) Fulton, III of Orangeburg and Gregory Fulton of Gable, S.C.; two-step grandchildren; nieces, and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, 12 Noon at The Evening Light Church of God with Rev. Isaac Cropp and Reverend Delpherd L. Barksdale officiating. Burial will be in the Jersey Cemetery.
The family is at the home.
