Joseph Ensor Obituary
A native of Youngstown, Ohio, he was the son of the late Irving Ensor and Dorothy Miller Ensor and the husband of Ola Fulk Ensor of the home. He was a veteran of the 82nd Army Airborne and the Korean Conflict and retired from Roadway Express. Mr. Ensor was a member of Reedy Fork Baptist Church in Greensboro.
Survivors include a wife, Ola Fulk Ensor of the home; a son, Joseph Ensor Jr.; three daughters, Linda Matthews of Cades, S.C., Colene McAbee of Wilmington, N.C., and Janet Strickland of Woodruff; a brother, Johnny Ensor of Brookfield, Ohio; two sisters, Janet Quimby of Poland, Ohio, and Gracie Ensor of Branson, Mo.; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Smith.
Services will be 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Stribling Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Dr. David Boyter. Visiting hours will be prior to the service from 2:30 to 3:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Guilford Memorial Park in Greensboro, N.C.
