He always had on his sweater vest, and was a true Southern Gentleman.. He had a great dry sense of humor. Once, the power went out at UPA, and several men were trying to start a generator... I went and got some starting fluid and when it did finally start, it backfired, and nearly scared me out of my skin. He thought it was pretty hilarious... Among men he walked softly, and carried a big stick. He was always kind to me. I wish each of you peace, and comfort of your sorrow through these days to come, and always.
