Linda Vaughn Obituary

Linda H. Vaughn

Greer - Linda Hamet Vaughn, 66, passed away April 30, 2021.

A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late Ulas Richard "Bob" and Estelle Moon Hamet, she was an employee of Leon Hix Insurance Agency and of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are her husband, Richard E. "Rick" Vaughn of the home; a daughter, Angela "Angel" Rogers (John) of Greer; a son, Craig Vaughn (Rebecca) of Greer; a brother, Carrol Hamet of Greer; one sister, Nancy Corbin of Greer; and two grandchildren, Austin Rogers and Cash Vaughn.

She was predeceased by one sister, Mary Bridwell.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 2, 2021 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Keith Kelly and Pastor Derek Henderson. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Vaughn, Lane Vaughn, Michael Hamet, James Corbin, Wayne Underwood and Mark Hix.

Visitation will be held 12:30-1:45 p.m. Sunday at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 4600 Park Road, Suite 100, Charlotte, NC 28209.
