Lois Nicholson Obituary
Marietta, SC
Lois Marie Nicholson, 85, of 493 Odell Road, Liberty, SC, wife of the late Noah Crate Nicholson, died Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Hope Health and Rehab of Marietta, Marietta, SC.
A native of Clayton, Georgia, Mrs. Nicholson was the daughter of the late Robert P. and Grace Elizabeth Galloway. She was a homemaker and a member of Mountain Rest Baptist Church.
Mrs. Nicholson is survived by son, Josh Nicholson of Piedmont, SC; daughters, Doris Doughty and husband Lloyd of Easley, SC, and Debbi Scarborough and husband Larry of Cleveland, SC; sisters, Myrtle King and Alberta Sullivan; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 28, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Mountain Rest Baptist Church, Mountain Rest, SC, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 PM prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Mountain Rest Baptist Church Cemetery Fund; 9915 Highlands Hwy, Mountain Rest, SC 29664.
The family will be at their respective homes.
