I give thanks to God for bringing you into my life and for the privilege of knowing you. You became like a grandpa to me. Thank you for allowing me to become part of your life and for your love. Thank you for being an example to follow, for all the great times we shared, for sharing your advice & wisdom, for always being there ready to help when needed. I will surely miss our lunch get togethers so we could catch up. My heart is in a million pieces & hurting because of your loss, but happy at the same time because you are in the best place someone can be and one day I will get to see you again. You will always have a piece of my heart and I will forever miss you. Love you.

I love you so very much Dad and this all still seems like one big long nightmare that keeps playing over and over in my head. But like you I am strong and I will keep pushing forward like I feel you would and would want me to.we may not have always been as close as I'd liked every year of my life. But I hope you knew I've always loved you just the same, and I thank god for the times we did have and we almost always made the most out of every minute. As hard as this is I will always treasure those last days we had together, we laughed, cried , hugged and of coarse joked around. That was a precious time for us even under the circumstances. You were such an amazing man and you will live on with me and (Kim & Allison)for the rest of our lives you taught us all 3 to be kind, gentle & caring to EVERYONE.no matter their color , gender , age , or even how little or much money they have none of that mattered to you your hand was always out for anyone to grab and sometimes you even grabbed theirs. And you always made helping someone no matter how little or how big look so effortless for you. Because that's the FINE man you were But one thing I know for certain is you set the bar high but with a lil of your strength and the great morals and values you left us with we can only hope to follow in your footsteps and we will honor you in the future. But I would be lying if I didn't say a lil bit of us died along with you that day Dad. We didn't only know it we felt it right away. But don't you worry you gave us everything we needed to survive this crazy world and enjoy it along the way. I know that's what you wouldve wanted and we all 3 will continue to try and live by the things you taught us to. We all 3 miss you so very much so please help give us a lil nudge occasionally because we could sure use it especially while we're still trying to come to terms with all this. Thank you Dad for EVERYTHING YOU TAUGHT US AND THE LOVE YOU GAVE US. You will live on forever through us now . I promise we will all 3 continue to make you proud. Just keep those angels in heaven laughing as you did here on earth . We miss you so very much Dad! And our hearts are broken into pieces.
