Parker Humphreys Obituary
Born in Level Land, he was a son of the late Robert Lee and Vera Parker Humphreys. He served in the U.S. Army, and was a graduate of Clemson University with a BS in Textiles. He was a salesman with Phillips Fiber/Amoco and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy Scachetti Humphreys, of the home; a daughter, Susan Humphreys Lloyd, of Charleston; a son, Michael Humphreys, of Nashville, Tenn.; a stepson, Brian Cash, of Greenville; five grandchildren, Tyler, Cameron, Banks, Collin and Caroline; two brothers, Weldon Humphreys of Saluda and Bobby Lee Humphreys of Abbeville; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held today, at 4 p.m., at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown, with visitation from 2:30 to 3:45 p.m., prior to the service.
The family is at 119 Hartsville Drive.
