Robert Bagwell Obituary
Born in Greenville on Monday, April 23, 1928, he was the son of the late Homer Lester and Mentora (Worley) Bagwell. He was the associate pastor at Fairforest Church of God.
He was the husband of Betty Jo (Shook) Bagwell.
He was a member of Fairforest Baptist Church. He was a member of the Advisory Board for Holmes Bible College, former president of Holmes Bible College Alumni, and former member of the Church of God Christian Education Board.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Joette B. Carroll, of Greenwood; two sons, Robert H. Bagwell Jr. and Stephen W. Bagwell, both of Inman; a sister, Ruby McCall, of Easley. He is also survived by four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at Fairforest Church of God at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with the Revs. Terry Sherfield, William "Bill" Waters and Jerry Chitwood officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman.
The family is at the home and will receive friends Monday, 7 to 9 p.m. at Seawright Funeral Home.
