Ruth Hudson Obituary

Ruth Few Hudson, 92, widow of Thomas Ansel Hudson and loving mother and grandmother, passed away on February 21, 2008 at Easley Living Center.

Mrs. Hudson was a native of Greenville County and the daughter of Columbus Lee and Aura Belle Hammette Few. She was the last surviving member of eleven brothers and sisters. She was a homemaker, and a member of Faith Temple.

Surviving are a daughter, Sharon (James) Styles; three sons, Dean (Lona) Hudson, Michael Hudson, and Frankie (Patricia) Hudson; eight grandchildren, Cheri (Gil) Cade, Scott (Tammy) Hudson, Robin Hudson, Christy Styles, Kendall (John) Place, Page (Chris) Hall, Micha Faucet, and Amy Neal; and 12 great-grandchildren, Jake and Courtney Cade, Kelsey and Kaitlyn Hudson, Diana and Kaylee Davis, Jaylynne Place, Austin and Scout Hall, Lauren Stone, and Paige and Samara Neal.

She was predeceased by one special grandson that she loved very much, Jamie Lee Styles.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 23, 2008, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, February 24, 2008, at 1:30 p.m. at East North Street Baptist Church with the Reverend Chris Hall officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

The family will be at their respective homes.
