Larry Scott Kellett, 48, of Greenville, died Wednesday, June 4, 2014.

Born in Greenville, he was a son of Nora Wilson Kellett and the late George E. Kellett, Jr.

Mr. Kellett worked at SEW Eurodrive, where he was loved by his employees.

Scott enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, and watching racing. He was a former player on the Spartanburg Pistons Wheelchair Basketball Team. Blessed with a strong spirit, Scott was admired by everyone who met him for his ability to overcome obstacles in life.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by brother, Greg Kellett and wife, Missy; nephews, Shane and Seth Kellett; and aunt, Evelyn Turner and husband, Allen.

He was preceded in death by brother, David Kellett.

Visitation will be held Saturday, June 21, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest with the funeral service following at 1:30 p.m. in the Northwest Chapel. Burial will follow in Graceland East Memorial Park.
