My heart goes out to all of you as you say goodbye to T. Ed, a visionary, committed, smart and generous man of high standards. He made such a difference in so many ways, and will be sorely missed. His passing in Tom's home on Father's Day is so fitting--the love your family shares is a beacon.
I hope that your warm memories and loving family & friends provide some comfort.

We'll miss Ed's gruff good nature, wisdom, interest in everybody he met, and big smile. We'll remember his tough and longstanding commitment to family farming, especially. He was specially welcome at our son Ian's and Lauren's wedding at our farm in Pennsylvania in 1999. Juanita, we're thinking about you and your family.
