Trent Young

Trent Eugene Young, 19, of Greer, died June 12, 2008, from injuries received in an automobile accident.

Born June 10, 1989 in Charlotte, N.C., he was the son of Kevin Eugene and Tammy Jo Broenneke Young of Greer, S.C.

Trent was a 2008 graduate of Riverside High School, was an employee of Stover Mechanical and had planned to attend Greenville Tech this fall.

He was a member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church, Taylors, S.C.

Surviving in addition to his parents are a sister, Tanner Young of Greer, S.C.; his paternal grandparents, Bobby and Peggy Young of Bowling Green, Ky. and his paternal great-grandmother, Edna Smedley of Salem, Ind. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Don and Jean Broenneke.

Services will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, June 16, 2008 at Brushy Creek Baptist Church with Dr. Ralph Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Graceland East Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 4 until 8 p.m. at The Mackey Mortuary and on Monday from noon until the service at the church.
