William Green Obituary
Born on Feb. 22, 1944, he was the son of the late William Hughson Green Sr. and Sylvania McCreary Green.
He was a retired banker and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Surviving are his wife, Anita White Green of the home; a stepson, CPL Merritt M. Clack, USMC, Camp Lejeune, N.C.; daughters, Kathleen Lapp, MD and her husband, David, of Durham, N.C., Elizabeth Green of Knoxville, Tenn., and Anna Green of San Diego, Calif.; a son, William Hughson Green III of Greenville, S.C.; and two grandsons, David Hughson Lapp and Joseph Carter Lapp.
A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, Feb. 5, 2005, at 2 p.m. at Saluda Hill Baptist Church, Cleveland, S.C.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Francis Hospice, P.O. Box 9312, Greenville, SC 29604.
