To Mac's Family & Friends,
Throughout the years in the Food Service business I have had the pleasure to be in his company a number of times. In his quiet way, I always found Mac to be one of the nicest, most genuine and personable individuals I have met in the Food Service Industry (and what a baseball fan!). He will be missed at industry events, but his legacy will live on in our hearts and memories for many years to come.
Please know that I send this with deepest respect and sympathy.

Mac played a unique, important, and lasting role in my life. He was my first boss when I joined PYA Monarch/Sara Lee in the Texas division that Mac was running and he was my last boss and presided over my retirement 15 years later as President and CEO of PYA/Monarch. His professional guidance, support and friendship was an important factor in my personal success during those 15 years. I am now and will always be grateful for the role Mac played in my life. He made such a difference while he was here. I can only surmise that God felt he needed him in Heaven more that he was needed here.
