In a my dotage I have tried to find old friends. I was saddened therefore to learn that Roz had passed last year. She was my first love--and I do mean love--when we were in high school at Horace Mann and Calhoun. Our relationship had all the intensity and brevity of such things at our age. We met again briefly at the wake for our mutual friend Ronnie Liippman and she gave me the signet ring she had bought me for my 18th birthday. I still wear it and have never forgotten her. She was a treasure. I am so glad that she had a full and rewarding life with a loving husband and family.
