Angelo Pellicano Obituary

Angelo Pellicano
Angelo Pellicano was born on September 6, 1934 in Montreal, Canada and left this earth for eternal rest on May 26, 2017. Angelo attended school in Canada and later served in the US Army as a Military Police Officer in 1957, the same year he moved to Port Chester, NY and eventually Greenwich, CT. His 58 year marriage to his loving wife, Natalina "Lena" Briganti exemplified the true meaning of what love is really all about.
Angelo spent the majority of his career working at US Surgical, where he played an important role in developing the first ever staple mechanism which still remains the industry standard today, nearly 40+ years later. He also had a great affinity for vintage antique cars which he collected, rebuilt and appreciated.
Always quick with a helping hand to assist those in need, he was loved by his family and will be deeply missed. Angelo is predeceased by his parents Angelo and Teresa (Ficara) Pellicano, his brothers Tony, Dominic and Joseph Pellicano and his sister Antoinette Pellicano Scafa. He is survived by his brother, Fortunato Pellicano (Sheila), and four children James (Karen) from Fairfield, Robert (Donna) from Stamford, Susan (Chris) DiBiccari from Stamford and Dean from Ridgefield. He was also "Poppy" to grandchildren Lynn, Matthew, Kim, Todd, Nicole, Luca, Kellie Ann, Julia, Benjamin, and Andrew, great grandfather to Paul and Sophia and family dog "Bentley."
Family and friends may visit at Thomas M. Gallagher Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Ave. Stamford, Connecticut (203)-359-9999 on Tuesday May 30, 2017 from 4-7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Holy Spirit Church, 403 Scofieldtown Rd, Stamford, CT 06903 on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, 399 North Street, Greenwich, CT. Angelo's family would like to extend their gratitude to primary aid Sandra, and the staff of Interim Healthcare and Visiting Nurses of Fairfield County for the wonderful care they provided. To send online condolences to the family, please visit www.gallagherfuneralhome.com

Pellicano Family
I met Angelo thru a mutual friend Rich Colengelo years ago. He was a gentleman and gave me the oppertunity to work on his house. His recommendations led to many more jobs in the area. I will always be thankful for that oppertunity. My condolences to you all. God Bless Mr Pellicano
