James Crabb Obituary

JAMES R. CRABB - age 62, of Stratford, a town yard supervisor for the Office of Operations for the City of Stamford, died on Wednesday, April 19, 2006 in Yale New Haven Hospital. Born and raised in Stamford on June 2, 1944, he was a son of Dorothy Ritch Crabb of Stamford and the late James Crabb. He graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a B.S. in Civil Engineering, and also was a contractor for M. Rondano in Stamford. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Marie Thomes Crabb, a son, James Crabb and his wife, Patricia of Easthampton, MA and two grandchildren, Chloe and Quincy. Funeral services will take place on Monday, April 24, 2006 at 10 a.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Sunday from 3-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society for Mesothelioma Research, 372 Danbury Rd., Wilton, CT 06897.
