Joan Fugazy Obituary

JOAN MARIE FUGAZY (BOGGIANO) - of Larchmont, NY passed away peacefully December 5, 2005 at home in the comfort of her family. Mrs. Fugazy was born February 4, 1925 in New York City to John and Mary Boggiano. Mrs. Fugazy lived in Larchmont for the past 4 years. Before that, she lived in Harrison, NY from 1960 to 2001. Mrs. Fugazy will be remembered for her love of family and friends, and her strong faith.

She is survived by her husband William Denis Fugazy, children William Jr., John, Daria and Roy; grandchildren Taryn, Ashley, Dayna, Patrick, Matthew, Gianni, Catie, Nicholas, Caitlyn, William III, Rory, Jenna, Alexandra, and Scarlett; great-grandson John Robert; daughters-in-law Sandy and Cathy; son-in-law Donald Patrick Scanlon; and sister-in-law Sister M. Irene Fugazy. She is predeceased by her daughter Denise, brother Jack Boggiano, and aunts Norma and Mabel Boggiano.

Visitation will be held at the Graham Funeral Home at 1036 Post Road, Rye, NY from 2-4 p.m, and 7-9 p.m., on Wednesday, December 7. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, December 8 at St. Gregory's in Harrison. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Calvary Hospital Hospice, 1740 Eastchester Road, Bronx, NY 10461.
