John was an extraordinary exemplar of a self made man. I last visited him in the Fall of 2021; he was at the top of his game whenever the subject of business came up. A voracious reader, John often regaled me with the latest novel he had savoured. I will always be grateful for the kindness he and his wife extended to me when I was vulnerable and felt alone. My sympathies to his family for the loss.

We have missed seeing John since the pandemic began.
John was a fixture in Harbor Point, was great with all the children, and will always be remembered since he planted tulips in front of everyone's mailboxes which come up every spring. Our son will never forget his rides in the Model T Ford, especially when it conked out in the middle of the Memorial Day Parade. John was
a good friend that we will always remember. John lived a long and fruitful life and we are happy that he is able to join the love of his life, Estelle in heaven. Rest in Peace, John.
