I am saddened by the passing of Mrs. Ward from this life. She was my handwriting teacher at Hamilton Avenue School in the early 1980s. I recall her taking a special interest in me for which I am forever grateful. You have my condolences.

Matty, June, William, Maya and Lilli
I am so proud and even more honored to be part of such a wonderful family. Nana's devotion to her family was one that couldn't be measured. She always made me feel so welcome and comfortable. There are so many that knew her for a lot longer than I did and others not as long, but whether you knew her for 10 years or 10 minutes she was a woman that made an everlasting impression on your life. I'm sure over the years she taught, not only her children and students, but others that surrounded her, so many lessons...the most important one she taught me was forgiveness. I will carry this with me for the rest of my life and I will think of her every time I'm faced with a situation that warrants the ability to forgive. I will also never forget all the laughs we had sitting around Ron and June's table on Sundays, the way her big, beautiful brown eyes would light up every time she saw a lobster come to the table, and her passion of music (especially Christmas music, even if it was the middle of August!!)Nana will remain in my heart and on my mind always. She is now resting with her one true love and son. My deepest love to all of you. xoxoxo Rachael
