Michael Peluso Obituary

Michael J. Peluso, Jr.
Michael Joseph Peluso Jr., a lifelong resident of Greenwich, passed away at Greenwich Hospital on Saturday, December 3rd, at the age of 78. Mike was born June 26th, 1944, he graduated from Greenwich High School with the class of '62. He went on to pitch in the Minor League Baseball Organization for several years before starting an antique business and raising a family in Cos Cob and later Riverside. He was an avid Yankee fan and a collector of antiques and classic cars. While Mike was primarily involved in the antique dealing business, he also worked in residential contracting where he oversaw the construction of multiple houses in the Cos Cob area over the years. Well known and loved by many around town, Mike was particularly noted for his great sense of humor and larger than life character.
Mike is survived by his two daughters, Michelle and Mia Peluso, a stepson, Chris Ilardi and five grandchildren. Mike was predeceased by his loving wife, Maryanne Peluso, and his parents, Michael Sr. and Mary Peluso of Cos Cob.
