My parents , Charles and Frances Westerman met Millie through the Greenwich Seniors Group. They enjoyed cruises together and many other joyful events. When my father passed away, Millie and Jeannie were there right away to support my mother.
Over the years my mom and I were fortunate to have the pleasure of Millie's company at gatherings in Florida and lunches at the golf course on King Street.
Millie and her dear friends (including my mom Frances) Helen and Jeannie, were guests in my Vermont home on a few occasions. A few of our adventures included a trip to Burlington and a pontoon cruise on Lake Sunapee in New Hampshire, thanks to my husband's nautical skills.
Millie was the person who always saw the glass half full. Her positive outlook on life was reflected in everything she did.
People wanted to be in her company because she always lifted their spirits.
I never met Millie's children or grandchildren, but I want you to know that my family loved her and your loss is a great loss to all of us.

To the Vojt family. Please accept my sympathy on the passing of Millie. My mom, Edith was a friend of hers. They worked together for many years in Stamford, at Baldwin Geggenheimer, which became Baldwin Technology. My mom thought the world of her, and even though I never met her, I felt I knew her too, from hearing about how wonderful she was, from my mom. May God Bless you all during this difficult time.
