Jesus Cruz Obituary
(October 30, 1931 - April 27, 2011) Familian 'Anaco' (Retired DOE Educator and former Yigo Commissioner) 'Jesus Anaco'/'Chu Frances' was called home in the grace of our Lord at the age of 79. Rosary is being prayed each evening at 7:30 p.m. at the family residence, 180 Chalan Tun Ignacion Chana in Yigo. Last Respects for Jesus will be held on Thursday, May 5th from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Yigo. Mass for a Christian burial will be offered at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Guam Memorial Park in Leyang Ð Barrigada, where we will bid him farewell and a peaceful rest.

John and family, I just wanted to let you all know that we are sadden to hear of the passing of your dad. I can still remember when he used to come to my grandpa Perez house. He was a good man and will be greatly missed. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

To Chu's Boys: I fondly remembered all of you and your dad when I was with Upward Bound in 1972. He was strict but fair, he wanted all of us to succeed in life. We all had a path to follow in life and it was with the push from Mr. Cruz. Thank you.

As I was really young, I remember Uncle Chu' Anaco as the man we always see at Mass and who we always have to Amen after Mass. However, I grew to know Uncle Chu' personally as a social, helpful, and caring man who I would never hesitate to Amen. He will surely be missed by my Dad and the rest of our family. And not to mention, by the community of Yigo. Rest In Peace Uncle Chu'. Our deepest condolences to the Family.

I was so saddened to hear of Pop Cruz's passing. If there is one thing that I could share about Pop it would be his very BIG heart & very hardworking, I could see him now he'd be cutting his grass on his riding lawnmower & we'd honk are horn and he'd smile & wave. Pop you are going to be greatly missed. We will all meet again. Love you.
