Joseph Leon Guerrero Obituary
(May 23, 1943 - April 29, 2009) Joe Henry/Ofing of Mongmong and formerly of Agat, was called home by our heavenly Father at the age of 65. Mass of Intention is being offered each evening at 6:00 p.m. followed by the praying of the rosary, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Toto. Last Respects for Joseph will be held on Thursday, May 7th at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, beginning at 9:00 a.m. and concluding at 12:30 p.m. Mass for Christian Burial will be offered at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Guam Veterans Cemetery in Piti, where we will bid him farewell and a peaceful rest.

They used to boast how they both have the same first two names...sometimes caused confusion as to which Joe Henry. Those were the good and fun old days. It was nice being able to make Uncle Joe's services in Guam, and nice to see you all again. I have great memories of Uncle Joe and you guys when you'd visit at my dad's house in San Bruno. I still remember my dad and Uncle Joe sweating while heating and then eating peppers (Jalepenos?) on the electric grill. Uncle Joe was one of a kind, always positive and smiling, and never a negative word about anyone or anything.

Please accept my wholeheartly condolences and sincere sympathy. Joseph and I played baseball during our younger days. We serve mass at Mt Carmel's church in Agat. He was an outstanding individual to be with. May he rest in the peace of God the Father thru His Son Jesus Christ.
