Kotla / Agana Heights (May 18, 1922 to January 23, 2009) Last respects may be paid from 9:00am to 1:00pm on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Agana Heights. Mass of Christian will be offered at 2:00pm followed by interment at Pigo Cemetery in Anigua. Mass of Intention is being offered nightly at 6:00pm st Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Agana Heights and will end on the day of the funeral.

I am sadden by this news, however I know my dear nino is in heaven enjoying holy paradise as Jesus promised His followers. I am most grateful for my nina & nino for sharing time with me in my childhood days. Such loving, caring, kind and sweet individuals, truly sincere in all their abouts. I miss you with all my heart. I wish I could be in Guam with your children as they say their final farewell to you, but please know that I am there in spirit and prayers.

Our deepest sympathies and prayers to all of you. Your dad (my Uncle John) was a wonderful man with a heart of gold and amazing values, which he passed on to each and every one of you.
We will cherish the memories we have from your dad's visits to California and our visits to Guam as well as the stories my mom, Auntie Nenang and Sister Alma have all shared with us about their oldest brother.
I wish we could be there for the services but know that we have you all in our prayers and will continue to say the rosary nightly with my mom.

Our Kotla Family, We are so sorry to hear of Uncle John's passing. Know he'd been ill, so God was ready for him and he lived a long, great life. He always had a smile and was such a wonderful person. We've got so many happy memories of him & Aunty Lole when we were little and then as adults. He was a special guy. Wish we could be there to share prayers, hugs, etc. Gerianne was sure a big help for Mom's rosaries at Aunty Ling & Uncle Tony's house every day. Thanks. We're there in spirit for you all.

To our Kotla cousins, it is sad to hear about Uncle John passing, but his time has come and he lived his life to the fullest. We cherish the times we shared preparing our reunion book and without his persistence, we would have never been able to document our family tree. To my Kotla Family,
It was great to have known Pop. He was such a sweet man and who was so easy to socialize with. He taught me a lot about my ancestors and for that, I am so grateful for. I can still remember back when we would come around the laundrymat and we would just sit around talking to him. He made us laugh and he told us stories of the family. I know that he is now in a better place than we are but it still breaks our heart to lose a love one. Please know that you are all in my heart and prayers and wish I can be there to help in any way.
