Anella Walker Mize, 96, of Desha passed away Monday, Sept. 15, 2025.
She was born Feb. 19, 1929 in Manning, TX to Hiram Franklin Walker and Vada Kathryn Woodall Walker.
Anella was a member of Desha First Baptist Church. She worked with Southwestern Bell for 41 years and loved it. She enjoyed sewing, reading, and her two cats.
Survivors include her step-sons, David Mize (Monica), Stephen Mize (Terry), and Stanley Mize (Jeannie); brother-in-laws, Bob Mize, Glen Mize (Eunice), and Larry Mize; sister-in-laws, Helen Griffin (Tony), Towzie Mize, and Phillys Mize Harrison; and eight step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Reuben Mize; and brother, Hollis Walker.
Funeral services will begin at 2:00pm Friday, Sept. 19, 2025 at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home with Josh Swinea officiating. Burial will follow at Egner Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00pm Friday, Sept. 19, 2025 at the funeral home.
