Maria De Rubio Obituary
Maria Gonzalez De Rubio, 53, passed away Sunday afternoon, October 8, 2017 at Memorial Hospital of Texas County.
Maria Lucia (Guevara) Gonzalez was born to Maria Ramona Guevard De Gonzalez on November 14, 1963 in Escalon, Chihuahua, Mexico. Maria had lived in Oklahoma City and Elkhart before moving to Guymon. She was currently employed at Seaboard Foods. She was a member of Iglesia De Dios Manantial De Vida, Guymon. Maria was a strong woman who loved her family and especially enjoyed her grandchidlren. She enjoyed plants, flowers and her dog.
Maria is survived by three daughters, Nancy Gonzalez of Hugoton, Kansas; Yolanda Rubio of Dallas, Texas, Monica Gonzalez of Oklahoma City, two sons, Luis Gonzalez and wife, Viviana of Perryton, Texas, and Alonzo Robles of Arizona; and her eighteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Maria Rosalea Reyes and Luzelena Gonzalez, both of Guymon; a brother, Baltazar Gonzalez of Chihuahua.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandmother, Maria Alvarado.
Funeral services will be Thursday morning, October 12th, 10:00 A.M. at the Henson-Novak Funeral Chapel, 501 NW Fifth Street, Guymon; with Pastor Ricardo Estrada officiating. Graveside services will be Thursday afternoon, 2:00 PM at Elkhart Cemetery, Elkhart, Kansas.
Visitation and family time will be Wednesday evening, 5-7 PM at the Henson-Novak Funeral Chapel.
