Danny Humphrey

Mr. Danny Humphrey, age 62, of Winder, GA and formerly of Sugar Hill, GA passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2010. He was preceded in death by: parents, Buster and Emma Humphrey and brother, Ronnie Humphrey. He is survived by: wife of forty years, Kathy Humphrey, Winder, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Donny and Martine Humphrey, Winder, GA; grandchildren, Kate Humphrey, Winder, GA and Bryant Humphrey, Winder, GA; brother, Donald Humphrey, Carnesville, GA; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Jackie Humphrey, Buford, GA, Debra Caton, Buford, GA, David and Linda Parker, Lawrenceville, GA and Patti and Jamie Velez, Buford, GA; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roy and Katherine Parker, Buford, GA; aunt and uncle, Sally and Winton Johnson, Buford, GA; uncle, Grady Stancil, Buford, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Humphrey was born September 15, 1947 in Cumming, Forsyth County, GA. He was a 1965 graduate of North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, GA. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army Reserves. He was a building contractor and worked for his father, B.H. Humphrey Co. for many years. He was owner of D.D.R. Construction Co in Winder, GA. He was of the Baptist Faith. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 8, 2010 at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Pirkle and Rev. Joel Shadburn officiating. Interment will follow in Sugar Hill Cemetery in Sugar Hill, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 noon until 9:00 p.m. Arrangements by: Junior E.
