JEROME EDER Obituary

Jerome Roman (Pat) Matthew Eder gave up his brave fight with Metastatic Prostrate cancer on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at 12:30 PM. Memorial Service will be held 11 AM Saturday, December 18, 2010 in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Pat was born on July 10, 1933 in Chaska, MN. He graduated from Chaska High School in 1951. He served in the United States Army, 10 th Infantry Division 1st platoon from 1952 to 1955. Pat is survived by his wife of 57 years Catherine Frank Eder. He leaves behind 5 Children & their Spouses: James & Kelly Eder; Tammy & James Parker; Tracy & David Aiken; Toni & Dean Farber; Teri & Tim Palmieri. He also is leaving behind 9 Grandchildren; Tyler, Cody and Zachary Parker; Mallery & Hannah Aiken; Carlie & Corey Farber; & Madison & Katie Palmieri; & Granddaughter-in-law, Whitney Parker. Pat loved coaching Little League baseball and Pop Warner football. He spent countless hours volunteering at Murphy Candler Park. Pat touched the lives of many young kids through the years. More than anything, Pat was a true family man and he loved his wife Katie, his children & grandchildren. They dearly loved and respected him. We Will Miss You Papa. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to American Cancer Society, Gwinnett County Unit, 6500 Sugarloaf Parkway, Suite 260, Duluth, GA. 30097 or VFW Post 5255, P.O. Box 54, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. Family will receive friends from 5-8 PM Friday, December 17, 2010 at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 300 Simonton Road, SW, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. 770-962-3100.
