Walter Duffee Obituary

Mr. Walter George Duffee, Jr. age 87, of Suwanee passed away Saturday, April 5, 2025. Celebration of Life services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Memorial Park South Chapel with Rev. Craig Dale pastor of Ivy Creek Baptist Church officiating and Doug Duffee son of Walter. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. prior to the service to be help in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home. Mr. Duffee was born August 8, 1937 to the late Walter George Duffee, Sr. & Bessie Ward Duffee in Birmingham, Alabama. A veteran of the United States Navy, he went on to work as the southeastern regional sales manager with U.S. Pipe. He was a member of Ivy Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Duffee is survived by his son, Doug (Barbara) Duffee; grandchildren, Mandy (Will) Barnette, Ashley (Steve) Mann, & Christopher (Kayla) Duffee; great-grandchildren, Bailey Barnette & Brady Barnette; and several cousins and extended family members. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Hutton Duffee; and daughter, Deborah Louise Duffee.
